Overview

The Distributed Sequence of Events (SOE) system is a fully integrated solution for monitoring, recording, and reporting events within the Symphony Enterprise Management and Control System. It captures digital input transitions and time-stamps them at the moment they occur. All input detection modules are synchronized using an external time source, such as a satellite receiver system (SRS). This time-coordinated event data is then transmitted over the network to the INSOE01 Sequence of Events Server Node, which collects, organizes, and stores data from distributed Harmony Control Units (HCU). The system allows event data to be accessed for generating reports through the human system interface.

The IMSED01 and IMSET01 are input/output (I/O) modules that can acquire 16 digital inputs with a resolution of one millisecond. The IMSET01 module receives and decodes time synchronization information sent by the INTKM01 module, while the NTKM01 module provides time data to the INSEM01 module and the time-sync link.
