Overview
The RLM02 module converts a non-redundant PROFIBUS line into two redundant RS485 lines or vice versa. It can be positioned directly after a master, before a bus segment with multiple slaves, or before an individual slave. PROFIBUS stations equipped with redundant couplers can connect directly to a PROFIBUS line set to redundant mode by the RLM02.
