Overview
The 1771-IFF Series A module is compatible with any 1771 I/O chassis. It facilitates bidirectional communication between the analog module and the processor. The processor sends block-transfer output data to the module via the output image table and receives block-transfer input data from the module through the input image table. Additionally, the module needs allocated space in the data table to store both read and write block-transfer data. The use of the I/O image table plays a crucial role in determining module placement and addressing configuration.Specifications
