The CompactLogix 5380 L3 Processor is designed for small to large applications requiring low axis motion and I/O point counts. It features high-speed I/O, motion control, Device Level Ring, and Linear topologies. With a 1 gigabit (Gb) embedded EtherNet/IP port, it supports CIP safety connections, I/O, and safety devices. Dual configurable ports support Dual-IP address, enhancing diagnostics and troubleshooting with controller status and fault display. The controller functions are optimized for maximum system performance and security, including controller-based change detection, logging, encrypted firmware, and role-based access control to routines and Add-On Instructions.
