Overview
The 3500 Power Supplies are compact, half-height modules designed specifically for installation in the designated slots on the left side of the rack. Each 3500 rack can be equipped with one or two power supplies, accommodating any combination of AC and/or DC units. Either power supply is capable of powering the entire rack independently.
When two power supplies are installed, the lower slot houses the primary supply, while the upper slot holds the backup. In the event that the primary supply is removed or replaced, the backup will seamlessly take over without disrupting the rack’s operation. This redundancy ensures continuous functionality as long as both supplies are in place.
