Overview
The H41q/H51q controllers can simultaneously handle non-safety-related data exchange via an F 8627X module with an HIMA OPC server and safety-related data via Safe Ethernet. In this configuration, the F 865xX central module ensures the safety of the system.
Starting from Operating System Version 4.x:
- ModbusTCP Slave Support: The F 8627X module now supports ModbusTCP slave functionality.
- ELOP II TCP Support: It also supports ELOP II TCP for fast data exchange between a PADT (PC) and the F 865xX central module.
Compatibility Note:
- The F 8627X module retains all functions of the F 8627 and is fully compatible with it.
- The new features are available only in the F 8627X when operating with OS Version 4.x or higher.

Applications and Accompanying Products
The new communication modules enable programming of CPUs with ELOP II via Ethernet. They are compatible with the following new CPUs:
- F 8650X/F 8652X: Safe CPU for H51q/H41q systems
- F 8651X/F 8653X: Non-safe CPU for H51q/H41q systems
The existing communication modules, F 8627 and F 8628, remain available in the product portfolio.
