Description
The 942 series industrial controls utilize ultrasonic beams for distance measurement. The sensor head requires no adjustments and can be mounted in remote or challenging locations such as the tops of tanks or inside machinery. The control box, which is mountable on a DIN rail, houses all adjustments. Basic adjustments can be quickly made using coding wheels and switches on the front panel, while advanced programming is accomplished via a PC connected through the RS-232 link. The software, compatible with Microsoft Windows, provides a user-friendly interface and extended capabilities such as Digital Signal Processing parameters, cycle time, slope, and more.

- Scan Ranges: Four models available with scan ranges from 0.9 m to 3.0 m (2.95 ft to 9.84 ft)
- Durability: Stainless steel M30 heads with an IP65 rating; Plastic control box with screw terminals and an IP40 rating
- Synchronising/Hold Input: Prevent mutual interference from multiple sensors by connecting their synchronising/hold inputs (pin 4). To stop measurement, connect the synchronising/hold input to the ground, stabilizing the output.
- Adjustable Sensitivity: Ultrasonic beam power (sensitivity) can be adjusted via a switch
- Switching Outputs: Four open collector PNP switching outputs with set points 1 and 2 adjustable by coded wheels; Close (target close), Overrange (target far or absent). NO/NC settings adjustable by switch.
