The Adapter facilitates easy access to the communication ports of the Trusted Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) Processor (T8110B & T8111) located in the Controller Chassis, designed for use with Distributed Control System (DCS) links and other interfaces. The unit also enables several extended functions on the Trusted TMR Processor, such as:
- Reception of IRIG-B time synchronization signals.
- Enhanced Dual Peer-to-Peer communication capabilities.
- Functionality for the Trusted System to operate as a MODBUS Master.
