Overview
The Ovation Distributed Control System delivers modulating control, sequential control, and data acquisition across a range of applications. It is composed of a configurable mix of functional Input/Output (I/O) modules that interface with the Ovation Controller through the I/O bus.
The Analog Output Electronics Module, featuring low-power 12-bit serial digital-to-analog converters (DACs), provides four isolated output channels. Each channel is updated every 1.5 milliseconds using a serial clock and data system. Opto-isolators are employed in the serial interface to ensure high-voltage isolation for enhanced safety and reliability.
