Overview
The MVI56E-MNETR is a Modbus TCP/IP Client/Server Enhanced Communication Module designed to seamlessly integrate Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® processors with Modbus TCP/IP-compatible devices. These devices can include Modicon Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) and a variety of Modbus TCP/IP-compatible instruments and equipment.
This module uses a reduced Input/Output (I/O) data block size, which enables efficient data transfer between the ControlLogix processor and the module. It is particularly suited for remote rack applications using ControlNet™ or EtherNet/IP™ process networks. The MVI56E-MNETR also supports applications requiring redundant ControlLogix processors.
