Overview
The Harmony Rack I/O system is designed to interface process signals with the Symphony™ Enterprise Management and Control System. It includes various input and output devices, such as the IMHSS03 Hydraulic Servo Module and the IMFCS01 Frequency Counter Module, which are specifically used for turbine control. Each module consists of a single printed circuit board (PCB) that occupies one slot in the Module Mounting Unit (MMU).
The configuration of the modules and their input/output (I/O) channels is typically done through jumpers and switches on the PCB and additional dipshunts on the termination unit. A cable connects the I/O module to its corresponding termination unit, where the field wiring is connected.
